In anticipation for Eid al-Fitr homecoming travel after Ramadan an estimated 123 million people will be traveling home this year through various modes of transportation which is why preparation is being planned out by the Indonesian minsitry of transportation.
The Indonesian Transportation Minister, Budi Karya Sumadi, together with the head of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi, conducted a review of the marga services office the Cikampek toll road and the cipali toll road to ensure readiness for the eid al-fitr 2023 homecoming traffic.
In order to prepare for this homecoming travel Minister Sumadi said that the number of travelers is increasing by 50 percent compared to last year. Which is why all necessary preperations must be implemented to ensure smooth traffic flow this year.
