Al Ittihad is through to the semi-finals of The Saudi King's Cup after eliminating defending champions, Al Feiha following a penalty shoot-out on Monday.
It was not too big a surprise, given that Nuno Espirito Santo's men in The Saudi League were 24 points ahead of 11th-placed Al Feiha. In a game of few clear chances, Haroune Camara gave Al Ittihad a 16th-minute lead. Ricardo Ryller leveled, five minutes into first half injury time.
After Ahmed Bamasoud had made it 4-3 to Al Ittihad in the shootout, Marcelo Grohe proved the hero, saving Mohammed Al Baqawi's effort.
