Personnel from Indonesia's Police Anti-Terror unit Detachment 88, have arrested at least five suspected terrorists,  in several locations in central Sulawesi this week.

In the beginning they arrested a teacher who is also the founder of a koran reading house foundation, Khairul Ummah foundation, in Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. The foundation was established five years ago, according to witnesses.

Police found various books and teaching materials containing radical ideologies. From the first arrest, police continued seaching for the teachers' affiliates, and arrested four others.

Detachment 88 personnel in cooperation with the provincial police unit, are reported to have searched and arrested more people, but the number of arrests are  still unknown. Police have not yet disclosed the  terrorist network of whom the five people are affiliated  with.
